Dr.
Gittens is an Assistant Professor of Management and Public Policy in Ramapo college of New Jersey. He has been the Convener
of the Management Concentration since September, 2001 and has taught courses in
Public Administration, Business-Government Relations, Metropolitan Studies,
Public Policy, and Minority Relations. He currently teaches Management Theory and Practice, Organizational Theory and Behavior, and Perspectives of Business and
Society
in the undergraduate program.
He has
contributed to the campus and community, as member of the executive committee
of the Minority Faculty and Staff Association, a member of School
of Administration and Business Curriculum Committee, and as a member
of Ramapo’s Presidential Task Force for Finance. In addition, as a long
time resident of Tribeca in lower Manhattan, he continues to do volunteer work at the local schools
displaced by the World Trade Center disaster.
