The synthesis and reactivity of transition metal acyl and bimetallic

bridging acyl complexes, mixed metal clusters and various metal

carbon multiple bonded systems.

· Catalysis in Organic Synthesis

Investigation of new transition metal catalysts. New techniques and

procedures for use in Organic reactions. Immobilization and

incorporation of homogeneous catalysts. The use of traditional and non

traditional chiral ligands for asymmetric transformations.

· Inorganic materials via MOCVD.

Investigation of novel routes to ceramics and other inorganic materials

via MOCVD studies. Attempt to exploit the notional similarity between

traditional b-diketonate CVD precursors and metalladiketonates
