Re:	Bill Bradley Sports & Recreation Center/Membership Information	Date:	September 3, 2004

 

I am pleased to announce that certain key parts of the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center will commence operations for employee members on Sept. 8, 2004 (Wednesday). For the period until October 1, 2004 no membership fees will be charged and you are invited to inspect the facilities and to use them without paying a fee provided you present a currently valid Ramapo College employee I.D. card.

 

Effective October 1, 2004, the fees previously announced as approved by the Presidentπs Cabinet, will be in effect. The fees for the period Oct. 1, 2004 ≠ Aug. 31, 2005 are as follows:

 

            $200.00           Individual Employee*

* Only students and Ramapo employees may use the Bradley Center during the Fall, 2004 semester. Family, alumni, guests and other Ramapo College partner memberships will not begin until the Spring, 2005 semester.

Further membership refinements and prices for other groups will be announced later.

 

Facilities included in the Bradley Center employee membership plan are as follows and will be available on the schedule noted barring unavoidable construction or other delays:

Expected Availability:            Sept. 8, 2004 and until the new Arena opens & then again at the beginning of the second semester. This gym will include an indoor jogging area when re-opened.

Facility:                                   Climbing Wall (Konica Spectator Lobby)

Further information will soon be issued concerning using payroll deduction for membership payments, more precise facility availability information and responses to other matters raised by individual members of the Ramapo College community with regard to Bradley Center memberships.

 

AT ALL TIMES AT THE BRADLEY CENTER, ALL-COLLEGE ACTIVITIES OR STUDENT USE FOR SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES (CLASSES, INTRAMURALS, TEAM USE, SCHEDULED RECREATION, ETC.) TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER OTHER USES BY EMPLOYEES, RENTERS, GUESTS, ETC. SEE POSTED SCHEDULES FOR AVAILABILITY.

 

Beginning Sept. 20, 2004 (and not before, please) Rachel McCann, Director of Sports Information Marketing and Planning, will be establishing employee memberships. You may contact her at ext. 7679, Room, Q-214 Bradley Sports and Recreation Center. At that time, Rachel will have a list of employees whose donor levels exempt them from the requirement to pay membership fees.
