Trillium

To All Ramapo Students!

TRILLIUM, Ramapo’s literary magazine, has been written, designed, and published by Ramapo’s students for over 30 years and is now is accepting submissions for its 2010 edition Join that long tradition and submit your writing to TRILLIUM!

WE NEED:
Your writing:
POETRY, FICTION, and CREATIVE NON-FICTION

Your visual art:
PHOTOGRAPHY, PAINTINGS, ILLUSTRATIONS, COMICS, DRAWINGS, SKETCHES, EVEN SCULPTURE! (please send photographs of your sculpture!).

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR TRILLIUM, SUBMIT YOUR WORK BY January, 2010.

Work can be submitted to trillium@ramapo.edu OR dropped off at the AIS office (B213). 

Submitting VISUAL ART:
When submitting ARTWORK, please do not submit your only copy. Please submit visual art on a DISC.  Please save as “TIFF” or other “high resolution” files.

Do not email images—drop off COPIES of your work in B213.

Trilium is Ramapo College's Literary Magazine. Since the earl 1970's, Trillium has featured the poetry, fiction, photography, and other visual arts of Ramapo College Students. Trillium is edited by students in the Magazine Workshop class, but the content is contributed by students from across the college. The magazine is published every spring and is available free of charge all year round.

OTHER ACTIVITIES AND CLUBS!
THE LITERATURE CLUB is a campus club for students who are interested in literature in its many manifestations. Its regular activities include Open Mic Poetry Nights, Creative Writing Workshops, and Discussions of Poetry, Books, and Short Fiction; it also sponsors special events each semester. Events in 2006 included a trip to the Dodge Poetry Festival, a reading by acclaimed poet Maria Melendez, and a student reading by contributors to the student literary magazine Trillium. Dr. Yvette Kisor (ykisor@ramapo.edu) serves as the club’s advisor.

SIGMA TAU DELTA (THE INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY) is open to all Ramapo Students who fulfill the following requirements:

3.0 OVERALL GPA AND 3.0 LITERATURE GPA
AT LEAST 12 CREDITS OF COURSEWORK IN LITERATURE, STUDYING A VARIETY OF TOPICS HERE AT RAMAPO
