This lesson will show you how to add events, modify and delete events. You will learn how to send e-mail reminders for events, and schedule repeating events.
1. Select the calendar to which you want to add the event.
2. Click on "New Event" icon, or click the + symbol on the calendar date that you want to add the event to.
Regularly scheduled events can be set to repeat by checking the repeat box on the compose event window. This saves you time by not having to re-enter a new event for each date. Select the repeat pattern from the window above. Select start and end dates for repeating events. Click OK when done.
Click on the "Reminders" tab of the new event to set a reminder for that event. Enter the e-mail address to sent the event reminder to, and schedule how long before the event you want the reminder to appear. You can enter a text message to add to the e-mail reminder message. Click OK when done.
Note: If you want to get event reminders for all events, choose this on the calendar "options" tab.
This feature is useful if you are sure the person you are inviting or informing, using the My Ramapo calendar.
1. Enter user ID. Click "invite" or "inform" button. If you do not know the user ID, use the "search" button.
2. The user's name will then be entered in the list below.
3. Quick invite, allows you to invite from other calendars.

The tan area indicates when the person has events scheduled in their calendar schedule. This can be helpful when trying to schedule meetings.
This tab gives a preview of the event summary. Users invited to events show as "undecided" until they accept your invitation. If they accept, they move to the "attending" list. If they don't accept, the will move to the "not attending" list.
