Opportunities for Students
Research / Independent Studies
Research opportunities are available with each of the Environmental Science faculty. For more information on recent research projects, click on the faculty member's name:
- Dr. Clyde Johnson - environmental chemistry, fuel cells
- Dr. Eric Karlin - ecology and genetics of mosses
- Dr. Emma Rainforth - paleontology
- Dr. Eric Wiener - forest / avian ecology
Research projects range from major one- or two-year studies, as part of the TAS Research Honors program (which requires projects to be presented at the TAS Research Symposium and at regional conferences, with a manuscript produced), to independent studies that provide background material for faculty research projects.
