SENS 105 - Fundamentals of Earth Science

Description
An introduction to the study of the various systems comprising planet Earth. The topics which will be examined include: an overview of the rocks and minerals which constitute the Earth's crust; the forces which form and recycle rocks and minerals (i.e., weathering, erosion, plate tectonics); the structure and function of oceanic systems (which comprise 70% of the Earth's surface); and the atmosphere and climate patterns.
