FASA of RAMAPO

FASA (Filipino American Student Association) was founded on November 15, 1999 by Melvin Carrillo, then a Ramapo Student. Its purpose is to provide awareness and appreciation of the Filipino culture and tradition through events and activities that is open to the whole Ramapo College community.

FASA is dedicated to promoting and encouraging Filipino and Filipino-American culture both on and off campus. We aspire to inspire. No, you don't have to be Filipino to be a member! FASA is all about networking with organizations and doing events on both the intercollegiate and intracollegiate level. No history, no culture, no self. Know history, know culture, know self. At FASA...we're family.

FASA is also a proud member of FIND D3 or Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue District 3. An organization that caters to Filipino student organization throughout the United States. FASA is under District 3, which is composed of Filipino student organization from Northern New Jersey, Metro-New York and Long Island.
