By accumulating a large collection of abstracts and bibliographic references to worldwide biological and medical literature and organizing this information for easy access, BIOSIS provides vital sources of information for life scientists.

IGM: Internet Grateful Med
IGM provides assisted searching in MEDLINE (including PREMEDLINE) and 14 other databases: AIDSLINE, AIDSDRUGS, AIDSTRIALS, DIRLINE, HealthSTAR, HSRPROJ, HISTLINE, OLDMEDLINE, SDILINE, SPACELINE, BIOETHICSLINE, POPLINE, TOXLINE and ChemID. A brief description of each database is available from the IGM introductory screen.

Literature Of The Hyrdrogenases
Search any literature database concerning nitrogenase, hydrogenase, and photobioreceptors, including references published in journals in 1982-onwards.

NCBI_ENTREZ
Entrez provides integrated access to biomedical literature, nucleotide and protein sequences, along with 3-D protein structures, complete genomes and population study data sets. Pre-computed similarity searches are available for most database records producing a list of related sequences, structure neighbors, as well as related articles.

OVID
Over 90 commercial databases are available through Ovid. They include the definitive bibliographic resources in many research areas. For research in medicine and allied health, Ovid offers MEDLINE® and EMBASE; in nursing, CINAHL; in bioscience, the BIOSIS databases; for general reference, Current Contents®, Newspaper Abstracts and Wilson Reader's Guide Abstracts; and so on in business, humanities, engineering, agriculture, science & technology, and social sciences.

PRF/LITDB
The Peptide Institute, Protein Research Foundation, is collecting the information related to amino acids, peptides and proteins and making databases.

PUBMED
PubMed provides access to bibliographic information, which is drawn primarily from MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE, HealthSTAR, as well as Publisher-Supplied citations.

PUBMED CENTRAL
NLM's free and unrestricted online archive of journal articles. Managed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)

SeqAnalRef
SeqAnalRef is a bibliographic reference data bank relative to papers dealing with sequence analysis. This data bank stores the references of articles from the expanding field of mathematical and computer analysis of biomolecular sequences.
