2. What was the most useful or meaningful thing you learned or
insight you gained during the session?
- Minority point of view
- The video was interesting
- The video was very eye-opening to he class.
- To see what people really feel inside
- views of others. others perspectives. how their ideas differ
from yours.
- I should eat before I show up. Not after
- How people see race
- Very intense-makes you think about everything.
- The video we watched today had so much emotion and experience.
It reminded me of our class.
- I really liked the movie, I felt it was verry (sic)
meaningful!
- I really think I learned the definition of racism through
other people's experiences
- This class is educational.
- A lot of people are really sensitive, in a good way.
- How people view aht racism is & different opinions
- All the prejudice in the world.
- The movie was outstanding
- That the whole racism thing hurts me.
- I realize that to exploit other people's ignorence (sic) we
must be ignorant ourselves.
- That as much as people hate to admit it, racism is still
there.

- I was so moved by the video-both frustrated that I feel I
can't ever do enough to help the battle with racsim and inspired
to see such compassion in adults.

answers are hard to come by
- Acknowledgeement is a goal we strive for.
- That people must face their emotions until the truth comes
out.
- Stereotypes go both ways->why are people so anti-Southern?
people w/pick-up trucks aren't evil

- The importance of group gatherings and strength; The video was
amazing and insightful. Thank you for letting us watch the whole
thing.

- What is the solution to the problem if there is one?
- Why is life so full of stress?
- where my journal is?
- How do you meditate
- Such hate between people, if you didn't know it's not
ignorance
- Nothing
- Actually, can I make up for missed bibliography cards. I
really need to know
- Am I going to pass this on?
- How this class will ultimately affect me.
- Vanessa's sharing->Balls!!
- Will things ever change?
- After watch the film, how is ever(sic) non-hispanic person
going to view me.
- Am I a racist b/c of the toys I think are proper?
- what more can we as individuals do to recognize + accept the
concept of racism.
- do other people feel the way I feel? Am I entitled to feel
like a minority?
- What is the answer? Can you just reat people with respect
regardless of what others do? Ad if so is it enough?
- How can we turn from an open individual->open society.
- why is every discussion against white people.
- What are we going to do about this!! We as people, Women,
Ethnicities, Americans?
- Was everyone who was in that movie retain what they
learned?
- Am I as ignoarnt as David?
4. What was the "muddiest" point in this session? (In other
words, what was the least clear to you?)
- None (3)
- Why was Victor really yelling and if so at who?
- media review
- video seemed to go in the same circles we go in during
class
- The meditation thing
- How long does the media review have to be?
- Seeing people become upset, makes me feel very upset.
- Film was excellent! But they always seem to srag at the
end.
- Dirt and water.
- Everyones feelings.
- Understanding that ignorance is not stupidity
- How did this ever begin
- ignorance. How some believe it is okay.
- See other classmates cry. hearing Jenna story really effected
me in thought. Thanks! I'm still confused on what racist or racsim
means
- Excellent film! Very powerful + insightful. Do
you have copies or know where to get one?
- Not much this was a very clear class for me. The problems are
huge but can be overcome.
- Are whites looked at as individuals able to change (open our
views), or will we always be held accountable for our
past...maintain a bad rep.

- I feel bad for david-he cannot be held accountable for the
past or individual experiences.
- Lets define ignorance!
- How counting to 15 as a group was truly teamwork. I feel that
it was more a thing of change.
5. Other comments:
- This class was awesome. Mind Blowing!!
- Here they come with their make-up on.
- NADA.
- when someone refers to someone elses opinions as ignorant, are
really ignorant themselves.
- Maybe some people should show their anger in this class. Makes
it more meaningfull. (sic)
- Powerful class that needed to be done + should be done+in
earlier schooling.
- This class has taught me so much about myself-encoraged
self-reflection and re-examination of my issues.
- Victor would not be impressed with our classes emotions and
feelings
- Struck me: keeping quiet makes me part the problem.
- I do not think that David is "ignorant". He was th only white
man in the group, + is it possible that Victor is ignorant?
- Moody!!!?! Jenna it took guts and you have a very sweet
girl!
- It was a very emotional class, I hope I didn't ofend
anyone
