Coverage:
The aim of the this course is to provide (1) a thorough understanding of the background and dynamics of the ongoing "Cognitive Revolution" in psychology (2) an appreciation of the strong inter- disciplinary nature of the field, i.e. in its links to literature, philosophy, computer science, neuroscience as well as traditional psychology (3) hands-on experience with several classic and modern demonstrations and experiments in Cognition and (4) an in-depth focus on one specific topic and approach in contemporary Cognition, the Ecological study of Memory.
