Tzemp120 Biographical Information

REGINA CASH-CLARK

My background encompasses over a dozen years of experience in the publishing field, which includes expertise in the areas of editing, writing, proofreading and interviewing. I spent four years on the editorial staff of Essence magazine as an assistant editor and continued to freelance for the publication after leaving to complete my postgraduate studies full time. I have edited novels, conducted interviews and written copy as a freelancer throughout my career, and I spent three years at Bookspan where I became a senior copywriter.

I studied several genres of writing during my undergraduate and graduate years, ranging from electronic media to publishing. As an undergraduate at Syracuse University, I explored writing for media in the TV, Radio and Film department, as well as Spanish studies, eventually earning a dual degree in both areas. In December of 1999, I completed my Master of Fine Arts degree in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, which resulted in the drafting of my novella WHEN AUTUMN CRIES.
