[M]y second book, Frank Lloyd Wright in New York: The Plaza Years,
1954-59, which I co-authored with Debra Pickrel, was published this month
by Gibbs Smith, Publisher. Nancy Danahy represented the class of '69 at
our October book signing at Rizzoli in NYC. This month, I also became the
president of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy
(www.savewright.org) a preservation organizaiton based in Chicago, so I
spend a great deal of time these days with a 140-year old architect.
I am enjoying life in Alexandria, Virginia but am still somewhat surprised
to be living south of the Mason-Dixon Line. However, the Potomac, the
magnolias and the Chesapeake blue crabs (as in crab cakes) are lovely.
Best wishes to all my fellow classmates. When's the next reunion.?
