O'CONNOR, John "Jack" P., 54, of New Port Richey, passed away May 21, 2006, at his home.

He was born March 18, 1952, in New York City, N.Y. and came here a year ago from Rutherford, N.J.

He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Church.

He was a producer with NBC Dateline News.

Survivors include his mother, Maureen O'Connor of New Port Richey; two brothers, Brian of East Patchogue, N.Y. and Kevin of Queensbury, N.Y. and two sisters Collette Himiak-O'Connor of New City, NY and Maureen O'Connor of Rutherford.

Visitation (at the Morgan Funeral Home, Port Richey, FL) will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas.
