Welcome to the web site of the European Union team of the Ramapo Public Policy Group.
We will examine the formation of the European Union as it attempts to bring together an industrialized group of sovereign nations, focusing on how its formation has affected the member states as a whole and individually. Additionally, in our research we will look at how the EU has influenced the Global Economy, and how this groundbreaking formation forwards the ideas of globalization

Monika Klimkiewcz, team leader: History and Structure of the European Union
I am a transfer student from Poland to Ramapo College of NJ. My major is Psychology. I also studied journalism, which is still my hobby. I had practice in Polish TV, radio station and newspaper. After my graduation I would like do something connected both to journalism and psychology. In my free time I like to travel and meet new, interesting people. I already visited over 20 countries and made friends in most of them. I also enjoy reading and surfing in summer time and jogging.
Alex Pawlowski: European Union and the Economics of Globalization
Alex is a senior at Ramapo College majoring in Business - Information Systems. Currently working in the MIS Department as a Project Manager for Toys R Us, Montvale, NJ. I enjoy working with a variety of different people in different departments or outside companies. Other schooling/training: Certified Machinist, Certified in Computer/Electronics, completed a variety of Project Management classes, courses, and seminars. I enjoy the outdoors including skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and swimming.
Kate Sonderfan: The EU in the International Community
I am a Junior at Ramapo College of New Jersey, double-majoring in Law & Society and Political Science. I work at Ramapo College Department of Security as a clerical assistant, and as a secretary for E. Gregory M. Cannarozzi, Esq. I am involved in the Law and Society Organization, the Model U.N. Club, and the 2004 Student Council. Currently I am not sure what I would like to do after graduation, but the possibilities are law school or pursuing a law enforcement career. In my spare time, which is infrequent, I enjoy being with my friends, whether in person or on-line.
Matthew Sieglitz: Policies of the EU
I am a junior at Ramapo College. I currently have no major but I enjoy the field of political science. In my free time I enjoy talking with my friends, playing tennis, and reading. My current goals for the future, which seem to vary monthly, is to attend law school and possible get a job in politics.
